Parental Rights After Miscarriage (as of October 2023): In Hawaii, parents have the right to the release and burial of their child. (Please note: A death certificate is mandatory if a stillbirth occurs after 24 weeks of gestation.)

Let Grace In
Let Grace In is a locally-grown 501c3 non-profit organization on Hawaii’s island of Oahu. We support families after the death of a child for any reason, from the perinatal period through young adulthood. Let Grace In was established on January 11, 2017 by the Gouveia family in honor of their 5-year-old son, Grayson. Our organization provides bereaved families monthly therapeutic events, The Grief Recovery Method educational classes, and Hope Retreats.
