Wisconsin

Parental Rights After Miscarriage (as of October 2023): In Wisconsin, parents have the right to the release and burial of their child. (Please note: A report is mandatory if stillbirth occurs after 20 weeks of gestation or if the baby weighs 12 ounces or more at the time of birth.)

Moreland OB-GYN

When your baby dies through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or newborn death, there may be times when reading about the “normal” feeling of grief is not enough. Often it is helpful to talk about your experience with other parents who have experienced a similar loss. These patients help each other through difficult times that friends and family sometimes may not understand.

You do not have to be a current patient at the below medical centers to join these support groups.
