Parental Rights After Miscarriage (as of October 2023): In North Dakota, parents have the right to the release and burial of their child. (Please note: A report is mandatory if stillbirth occurs after 20 weeks of gestation.)

Pregnancy After Loss Support

Minot North Dakota – Angel Parents meets at The Village downtown on the last Tuesday of every month from 7-9. Led by Angela Jonely Scott. Group focuses on all around support after the loss of a child, pregnancy after loss included.

Hospice of the Red River Valley

Hospice of the Red River Valley offers a free ongoing grief support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or in the first year of life. This group is free and open to the public, offered in our Fargo and Detroit Lakes offices.
